Who We Are
Twin Cities Youth Chorale is nonprofit auditioned choral group under the artistic direction of Ann Wingert-Williams and Julie Bright. Membership is open to Twin Cities area youth ages 9 to 14 entering 4th through 8th grades in September 2010. All newcomers, with and without musical experience, are welcome!
What We Do
We inspire young singers to pursue excellence in choral music through education and performances in local and regional concert venues. Participants are welcome regardless of gender, race, or creed. The Twin Cities Youth Chorale is affordable and our schedule is family friendly. Tuition assistance may be available for families demonstrating financial need.
Singers will:
- Develop leadership, poise, discipline, teamwork, caring and citizenship
- Acquire aesthetic appreciation of world culture
- Develop the value of service to community
- Learn healthy, age-appropriate vocal training providing foundation for life-long singing
- Cultivate creativity through innovative musical selections and performances
- Experience varied and rich collaborative performance experiences
- Improve music literacy through carefully crafted music preparation
When We Meet
Weekly Tuesday rehearsals from September through May.
