Jennifer Rose, Executive Director:  Mrs. Rose is responsible for managing the administrative, promotional, performance, and developmental requirements for Twin Cities Youth Chorale.  She brings strong communication, financial, analytical and problem-solving skills to her new role, garnered during her 16-year tenure as an engineer, product development team leader, and research and development departmental manager with Johnson Controls, Inc., a Fortune 100 company.

Mrs. Rose received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and earned her Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.  She acquired Project Management Professional certification during her years with Johnson Controls, and repeatedly led international and governmental projects to cost-effective, quality outcomes.

Jennifer is a lifelong musician, having played concert, parade and marching band woodwinds through high school and into her college career.  She is currently a member of the Brooklyn Community Band, and resides with her husband and two sons in Maple Grove, MN.

Bob Hainlen

Bob Hainlen, TCYC Choral Coordinator:  Mr. Hainlen is a retired classroom teacher with 34 years elementary teaching experience.  He currently teaches early childhood music at the Jean Lyle Children’s Center in St. Paul, and is a District 279 volunteer in the Skills and “Be Four” classroom at Fernbrook Elementary in Maple Grove, MN.

Mr. Hainlen has sung in the Bach Society Chorus, the Augsberg Master Chorale, the Dale Warland Symphonic Chorus, and the North Suburban Concert Chorale.  He also participates each year in District 279’s Waste Basket Review.

Mr. Hainlen received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a comprehensive music minor from St. Cloud State College.  He received a Master of Arts degree from Hamline University.  He has been a Minnesota Honor Roll Teacher of the Year, a Minnesota Special Teacher of the Year, a District 279 Foundation “Investment in Youth” recipient and a “Superintendents Award” winner for the Waste Basket Review. 

Bob’s wife Jean is a Special Education teacher in District 279.  His twins David and Elizabeth are members of Twin Cities Youth Chorale.
